Fudge me its been a long time since I've dealt with people who mess you about, purchased something from somebody on facebook, Paid the money and i was told it would be sent next day delivery, a week later and there has been an excuse every single day why it could not be sent.

Its oblivious that every excuse is made up thing is i'm not even in a rush for the item, its just so sad and disappointing that people don't honor their word, trust and integrity are the foundations of everything i do. if i make a promise to somebody ill go out of my way to make sure it gets done. Not because i want people to think im this amazing guy that always gets things done, just because i would expect the same from anybody else.

To make it worse, i'm the one that's had to chase them up every day, not even a quick message to say sorry i couldn't send it because... like i say its not even about the item why can't people just be honest and keep their word? I know i surely can't be the only person who does.

My advice revolves mostly around letterboxes and the expulsion of human excretia via it's portal

I know a recovery driver who travels the country daily, but also breaks cars for spares. He posts things off and people start complaining to pull a fast one and eGay always sides with the buyers... So he posts certain things through their letterbox as he passes their way ha!

I follow the facebook groups around me. Yesterday I saw a funny post about someone paying £250 cash into someones bank in exchange for a double buggie.... Obviously the buggy never came and she blocked her on facebook. The lady then closed her facebook. All the details she had are "she lives up the line" not sure what that means. And she works at talktalk. But ANYTHING could be fake on facebook so why take that kind of risk. Ended the sob story with "I'm due in 18 weeks and I have a 1 year old". Least Paypal is some form of protection. All the comments on the post are "get the police involved" yea they've got nothing better to do than say "DUH YOU ARE STUPID"

There are tons of facebook groups for selling, either random items or cars. Not sure why everyone is so surprised.
