Anyway, next question:
Why doesn't god heal amputees?
It would cost an arm and a leg.
Bada-bing!
Anyway, next question:

It doesn't make any sense as you are thinking of hell in the modern idea which has no basis in religious texts.
angels in particular are never described in the Bible as humanoids
So much of our religious imagery comes from modern literature and art, angels in particular are never described in the Bible as humanoids with birds wings. They are actually only described a couple of times, once as a giant 'ring' with multiple eyes.
lol @ everything religious.
Not if God loves us enough to give us free will. We are the only ones that can condemn us, at least according to Christianity.
Torture and eternity? Where's he say that.
Not reall devoured by fire destroyed by fire. No tortureand no eternity unless you mistranslate or don't understand the original context.
sorry but god made the system of
You have free will ok
And here's your choice
Do as i say live for eternity in happiness and joy
Don't do as i say and i will brutally torture you for all time.
Remember now This is freewill and your choice!
Not really a choice is it and as god set the system up he is to blame.
he could have set it up as
Do as i say live in my paradise wit my rules and like minded people forever
Don't do as i say and live in your own paradise where you guys make the rules.
That would be a choice.
this is just a threat from a thug.
Of course you have a choice, especially as you aren't doused in petrol and no concrete proof.
Rubbish
It's "Be excellent to each other and remember to say thank you to the one that actually made your ass"
Or
"Be ****ty to each other and cause the world misery and i'll give you a spanking of your eternal life"
Yeah he gave us free will, but that's only a test to see if we're mature enough to handle it.
As the majority of posters here seem to be athiests (non-theists) I do feel I should mention the importance of elasticity and transparent thinking when communicating with others that may/may not be religious. The world will work well regardless of religion, as stateside law assures safety (to a reasonable extent) all we can gain from these religions (beside a third person observation of indoctrination and occasional moral hypocracy) is the foundation of our society today.
Not really.
Can you tell me the first commandment?
Cause that ****'s a large majority of perfectly good and decent people.
'You shall have no other gods before Me.'
How does that affect the majority of people?
How is your scenario the same? Many people accept it is true, yet they never have petrol poured over them and never have the fear.
Freedom of choice is not freedom from consequences. You are still free to choose.
