I bought Bioshock and Mass Effect in the end. I can't wait to sit down with some mates and play Bioshock through. Nice and dark, sound up loud, it should be awesome.

Mass Effect looks really good as well, it does look like more of a shooter with RPG elements rather than the other way around. Even if it's the other way around, it still looks really good.

The comments about the other games are also noted for potential future purchase.

Mass Effect is very heavily a RPG, lots of talking and exploring, but the action is done very well and certainly on a par with many shooters around.

Bioshock is simply awesome. Best game of 2007 for me

You'll be engrossed by the story in both games. You can't go wrong with two gems like that, happy gaming!

Yeah great purchases - wish i'd waited til i got my xbox for MassEffect. On a side note Mirrors Edge is a short but fun game - takes a bit of dedication if you want to 1000 point it tho - those time trials and speed runs arent easy.
