I felt tortured, at my hairdressers.

Walked in my usual hairdressers, and I had noticed there was a new person working and he was the one who was going to cut my hair, which did not bother me however, I was thinking 'he better not mess up!', as you would do.

Anyway, he wrapped this white bit of paper around my neck really tight which was very unusual and was strangling me a little, but I could cope... And then put the cloth around me. He then continued to cut my hair, yet he dropped the comb in my lap two times which I just thought again... Ah this guy is new I will let him off, although he was grabbing the comb right on my crutch.

Then also the wire of the shaver was going in between my legs, so he decides to whip around the wire a few times while he was shaving my hair to just get the wire from between my legs, while doing this he doesn't realise that the wire was whipping my face.

I had to close my legs, or cross them in order to not have my face whipped, so I felt quite uncomfortable and constrained. He could also manage to rub his legs against mine quite hard while cutting my hair from the front which was a bit abnormal...

Anyway, he gave me a good haircut which I guess matters... But man has anyone else been in this situation?

Oh, and normally it costs five pounds, yet it was six pound this time...

I might have to find a hairdressers that have women, as I don't mind if they do this to me... But from a man, not really my thing!

Spec me a barbershop in Stoke!

Maybe I should start paying £35 instead of £5, then I will not be tortured, or felt, or uncomfortable. Thank you for the recommendations. Is Toni and Guy a good hairdressers to go to?

OK, that is my last haircut from that place I am having. I am truly sick of it!

Can anyone recommend a good hairdressers in Stoke which does not cost £30? :p

Has anyone gone to the hairdressers with a friend? - This is my next plan. Me and my friend has agreed to have our haircut done together! :D

(Not going to the original place though, gonna try somewhere new)

No.

If a mate happened to be going at the same time as me then I'm not going to bother about it but why would you arrange it specifically? It sounds almost as if you want someone to hold your hand or perhaps to witness the assault?

He offered me if I wanted to go to the hairdressers with him. He knows nothing about my previous hairdressing history.
