I get too over hyped about new stuff.

I get too over hyped about new stuff which is annoying because sometimes they really don't live up too what one expects. Like PSP and the Wii are the last things I got hyped about and they turned out to be disappointments.

Now I'm getting over hyped about the PSVITA and I should know better but I can't help it.

I gotta some how learn to control my inner child. What do you folks do?

I am the same i own ps3,wii,psp,ds,pc and a raft of games i have never finished as i never get the time anymore yet i am hankering after 3ds and new zelda game and have my heart set on psvita and the wiiu looks nice too and thats without the games that come along that i like to buy.

Work and kids mean lack of free time.

While I don't get being hyped about the Wii and I wasn't paying attention for the PSP, there is no shame in being hyped for the Vita. It's looking like fantastic hardware with lots of great impressions but more importantly, a great launch day/window lineup.

its good to have passion for your games thats what makes gamers - gamers lol

I know what you mean about there being disappointments but occasionally there are the games or consoles that live up to the hype and that makes it all worth it

Its so interesting seeing how different people see different things. The Vita I can't wait to touch feel and frankly sleep with. Nothing I've seen about the Wii U has interested me in the slightest, literally nothing. Maybe it's because I never had a Nintendo (or any console for that matter) console as a kid, so I've never had this love for Zelda, Mario, Pokemon etc for the idea of them finally in HD doesn't woo me. Maybe its because I got the Wii and didn't really use it. I have no idea.

It happens now n again, Mainly RPGs get me hyped. Fable got me hyped, Oblivion got me hyped, And with mods it managed to better live up to what it promised. Mass effect got me hyped and paid off!! Elderscrolls 5 has me hyped now...So hyped I'm spending £1000 on a PC(building it myself too), and £300 on a new screen.

I'm the same, but I do feel getting hyped about the PSVITA is perfectly justifiable. This thing is gaming heaven, I can't see a single negative to it, even the price is good. Wii U on the other hand i'm not at all bothered about.

its gonna suck like the PSP is a pretty big negative, plus you have to buy your games from PSN = LOL

Wrong on two counts!

The PSP didn't and still doesn't "suck"

PSVita uses flash based memory cards for it's game media as well as PSN.

Nothing wrong with psn I happen to like it. Easy transactions and download whenever you want

All games will be available on the PSN while most will also be available at retail so thats that covered. And selling 70 million units sucks?
