Had a Meatball Marinara from Subway on the Slough Trading Estate at Thursday lunch time and by the following morning I was projectiling out of both ends. Felt like some kind of twisted garden water feature. My friend had the same thing only he's a bit more of a seasoned food poisoning veteran than myself.

Don't think I've ever had food poisoning before, definitley not like that, I was in absoloute agony and could hardly move except to get to the toilet. Had terrible pains in my stomach and aches all over my back, arms and legs. Felt really dizzy too. Couldn't keep any food or drink down.

Two days on and I can eat but only to keep hunger pains away. I'm still feeling frail, bit light headed and some head aches.

Used to be a big fan of subway but no more, infact I think I'm off all fast food, I really don't want that too happen again.

This was the offender:

Just thought I'd share that with you guys. I had planned on going down to the Subway in the week and have a word with them, think that's good idea?

They wont do anything. From their perspective, how do they know it was the sub that caused the illness? Just because you say it was doesnt mean they have to trust you.

Best bet would be to complain to the health and saftey organaization and maybe that subways will get an unscheduled inspection.

Not really, you obviously cant prove it was from their stuff and the most they will do is give you a £5 voucher or something. Which isnt likely to help you atm.

Yeah not much you can do unfortunately.

I got food poisoning once, I was ill for weeks. Take it easy mate ;)

Cant prove it was them unless a hospital extracted your stomach fluids with 12 hours after eating the item.

Also in my experience that isnt proper food posining, try 5 months in hospital after eating a whipys in inverness

I had salmonella food posioning once and was wrecked for weeks. Enviormental health came out but didnt find anything in the house and they were going to make a call to the chippy i was at to check them out as well.

Get well soon mate

Unless you have some of the sub left to prove that's where you got the food posioning from their's not much can be done I'm afraid. Don't forget to take some salt and sugar as well as drinking plenty of water until the diarrhoea stops (8 teaspoons of sugar + 1/2 a teaspoon of salt dissolved in 1 litre of water)

I was also told that when I suffered food poisoning from a dodgy prawn in a prawn cocktail. Sadly though, as in the OP, there was nothing left inside me to extract as I'd sprayed the vast majority over the bathroom walls.

Cheers for the sympathy and advice guys, I might go down the health & safety inspection route. Guess I was lucky it wasn't worst from some of these other posts. I'm probably going to be back in work on Tuesday as it's a busy week for me.

Luckily I haven't had to crap since Friday so here's hoping I'm not a ticking time bomb.

That's what you get for buying food in Slough, it's hardly the cleanest place in the world. In fact, I'd say it's one of the flithiest :p

I can completely sympathise with you, food poisoning is EVIL. I've had it around 4 times now. The first time was attributed to me (I was 12, cooking some chicken burgers. I put them in the oven before it had warmed up....) and then rest were due to food I had eaten whilst out and about. It's really not pleasant, and the cramps are the worst thing about it. You can't even sleep it off.

I end up getting so exhausted from puking/pains that I just pass out, and then wake up with very sore abs.

I had food poisoning from a Mr.Wu chinese in London.
Horrible being sick that many times, even had to go to hospital there I was that bad.

Doesnt sound like Subway - I believe it takes well over 24 hours for food poisoning to kick in. Had it after a cruise on the Ocean Village. Went to work the day after getting back... afternoon felt iffy... train way home I deliberatly sat near a window... got home to do the "water feature" rendition.... move along 3 days of not keeping any food and water down I was pretty dehydrated.
