The site crashed when I added to basket, then again when I got to payment, then again when I clicked pay haha but it finally went through I'm still not in the all clear as I haven't received the confirmation email yet but damn I wil sacrifice a goat if it means I don't get an "Out of stock" email lol How was everyone else's experience?

Managed to get an MSI trio elsewhere - appears to have been sheer luck. FE was ridiculous. Selling your 2080ti before you got one seems a bad move now..

I also got the Gaming X Trio, it was £799 last night and they actually dropped the price to £769 today not long before 2pm, which left me confused but I wasn't complaining.

Agree with this, it’s a complete dick move. I’m not so sure Sem would hold no grudges if he had waited eagerly for months and months to get a card and he didn’t get one, then finds it on the bay for 1k+

@mnc fear People are passionate about their hobbies and if they want the latest tech that is absolutely fine, just because there are other things going on in the world doesn’t mean that passion has to stop. Chris isn’t annoyed that the cards sold out, from what I can tell he’s only referring to the smegma that buy them to sell them at a higher price out of nothing but pure greed and selfishness.

Yep just got the email too lol was kinda expecting it honestly. My order was complete by roughly 14:05 and since the the orders are being fulfilled on a first come first serve basis, all I can hope for is I’m not waiting that long.

Far beyond the expectations? Wtf did they think was going to happen? Releasing a card faster than their £1200 2080Ti and they didn't think demand would be high? Such a BS response.

Board partners apparently, somehow were not given enough time by Nvidia, so I guess whatever stock all the online retailers had in was literally all they could get their hands on.

They could have sold FE variations with their own sticker on, they have in the past unless nvidia no longer gives them that as an option.

Mmm I didn’t know about that or how that would work but I don’t think I would be happy with that, I paid extra for the MSI X Trio for a reason.
