I guess I am after a password application?

Since someone hacked into my account in another forum and managed to scam a few people, I have changed every single password I use in forums and email accounts. The passwords are a bit too complicated for me to remember so I have saved them into an encrypted file. That's all good (well it works for me anyway) but a bit messy, so what I am after is a program where I would, for example, type in the url of the website or forum I want to login to, my user name for that website, and a master password that I remember. The program will then give me a password based on what I have entered.

I remember Norton did something like this. I think it was called Norton Password Manager. There was a freeware one whose name escapes me at the moment.

Firefox does it, go to Tools>Options>Security and use the master password

Password vault is good, sync-able over the net, and has lots of space for details.

I wanted something portable that I can use anywhere, so firefox isn't an option, password vault 2go lite seems spot on though! Cheers guys
