i hate being big some times!

brought a stunning lambretta jacket off of ebay XL i assumed it would fit, boy was i wrong couldnt even get my arms inside let alone the width im really gutted. to give you an idea my chest is 51 inches and my arms are 19.5 nches :mad:

Im 40" chest and I buy XL, theres no way a XL shirt will fit a 51" chest!

Not only are you HUGE you are an optimist.
XL is not even a vest for you let alone a jacket.

Personally i am not that big but being 6ft 5 i have arms like a baboon.

I have loads of brand new stuff mostly presents where people are convinced an XL will fit me.
Personally if it hasn't got XXL on it i won't even pick it up. :cool:

Thats sucks I hate it when that happens! Especially when I try on old clothes and I cant get my arms into them!

If you feel you need to lose abit of weight, then use that as a goal to fit into it, especially if there is a special event coming up. If youre just bulky then I guess you need to remember your an xxl!

I know what you mean by that!! I am taller than you and it is so annoying how short sleeves are on most things! XXL can be the only way but they are so wide! Either that or paying High and Mighty prices!

Ive got a 50ish inch chest and I can wear XL :dunno: It depends where its from....cuts differ..

I have a 46" chest and although XL will fit, things tend to get a little snug if there is any shrinkage in the wash so I usually buy XXL.

I think XL for a 51" chest was being optimistic in the extreme
