I hate the VXR forums sometimes

There were two VXR's (astra and corsa) acting like tools in oxford city center on Saturday evening, plus a local crack head has a VXR Astra... I hate to tar with the same brush, but they seem to attract a certain type of person, which would be the only reason to put me off having one, as I think they are well styled and give great performance.

To be fair though, there are quite a few VXR Astras/Corsas/Monaros around here, and they're all fairly sedately driven where it counts. Saying that though, I don't think I've happened upon one going for it at all.

Maybe it's because there aren't many people under 60 in West Sussex.
 
Thats all motoring forums for you though isn't it? We have some prize examples from here too- Phate doing rolling burnouts down what looked like a nice residential area, Drexel ripping around busy ring roads with his fellow "Ring road ricers".

Not meaning to single those two out but they were the first to pop into my mind.
 
I remember everyone slating Frannobaz in the Thread he made, but I never got a chance to view the footage as he pulled it down IIRC :(
 
To be honest with you, I see this all the time with VXR drivers. Astra and Corsa's in that blue colour I see all the time speeding, showing off and being c0cks!

Most of the time they are being driven by spotty teenagers who think they are clever by getting a licence and then buying the car with finance only too stupid to realise they are getting ripped off!

They drive like utter *****! Dont they realise they just look like ****?

No wonder VXR owners have such a bad name.

Its people like him who kill innocent people!
Wish a brick hit his windscreen when he was driving in that video!
 
Total spastic.

The kind of guy you wish would lose his license tomorrow, when in reality, by sod's law he'll probably never get nicked. Whereas you'll drift over the limit for 1 minute and get nicked.
 
There's not much you can do about it really, people like this have always been around, it's only recently that some of them have worked out how to sign up for a forum even tho they're barely able to string an coherent sentence together... ;)

I've noticed a similar trend with certain music forums too, some of them have pretty reasonable members while other forums appear to be populated mostly by chavs who seem to be wannabe gangsters or boast about how much drugs they've done on a night out as if you get a medal for it. :/ Only instead of types of car, it comes down to the types of music...

Is there a guest account on that VXR forum?
