I hate the VXR forums sometimes

Any reason why ford and vauxhall don't make st's and vxr's in autp\tiptronic form? Not like other brands don't have both manual\auto of their performance cars. Apparently the vxr8 has that option but none of the others.

(asked in another thread but no takers sop far ) :(
 
Typical demographic of Corsa VXR owners there's a few around here all with the same kinda of driver, skin head and cap wearing with music really loud, and there chav probably pregnant girlfriend in the passenger seat all giddy because of the loud car.

As for the forum how can you put up with that stupid VXR Racing background, makes my eyes bleed :P
 
Crazy idea, but if you dislike the retard that much why not approach the police with a link to the thread?

they have the info of the people talking about it AND the evidence.
 
there are so many chavved up golfs out there, luckily clubgti seems to avoid most of that, but the number of cars i see at meets plastered with daft stickers etc really make me cringe. dont get practically any of them driving like tools though. i think its a requirement of the terms and conditions of corsa vxr ownership from what i can tell

Tbh, forward link onto the police and save the video, total ****, then trying to justify only doing 20 or 30 over the limit, infront of A SCHOOL (ok it might not have been a school day at chucking out time, but point still stands).

The golfs around me are worse than the VXR's :o They all drive like complete tools, if there where 2 car brands I'd never drive now it'd be Golf's or VXR's. Funnily enough there's a golf driver trying to wind up the VXR crew on that forum :) lolzzz

True, most of the old hot hatches don't suffer from this anymore, 205 gti's, golf mk1/2, r5gtt etc. I guess you need to actually look after them now so they tend to be owned by enthusiasts that care.
 
mk4s and their audi a8 wheels, i was in manchester this weekend and i couldnt beleive how many mk4s with tints, chrome m3 mirrors and a8 wheels. utterly utterly crap

I was getting angry and swearing at my screen, what a ******* idiot that guy must be - if he wasn't talking in 'txt' talk it wouldn't have annoyed me as much but still, he seemed to think that doing 60 in a 30 was better than doing 100 in a 30.... :rolleyes:
 
He said it was a 40mph, I find this hard to believe outside of a school, approaching a roundabout and also a junction right near the school.

Around here, that would be a 20mph with flashy LED signs and pictures of crayola drawn snails done by the kids.

Regardless, if it is a 40mph, he says he was doing 20-30 over the limit.

He then also says he would never be stupid enough to do 70 in a 30. Hardly a great difference!
 
He says he's from Watford and I live in Rickmansworth which is just down the road.

I seem to remember spotting a blue corsa VXR on a friend of a friends facebook. Not saying that it's likely to be the same person but it wouldn't suprise me as they did all look like council estate petrol heads and are the sort of people I would expect this behaviour from.

There's a time and a place like you said. It's stupid and dangerous and he was lucky not to have injured himself or anybody else. It's not just your car you ruin, it's peoples lives.

Then people like him will moan that young drivers (I myself am one) have such high insurance premiums. No wonder if you drive like a complete ******** all the time.
 
His driving is poor and it was a stupid place to be doing that speed but I think the OMFG A SCHOOL comments are a bit pointless seeing as their isn't a kid to be seen. 8:45 on a Monday morning and that comment would hold some weight.

They are still a prize tool though.

I was very close to signing up there and throwing a few choice words at him too but I think sending that video to the Police would be much better...

Has anyone contacted the Police?
