I hate the VXR forums sometimes

A friend reported him via email to the local police there and they emailed him back.

There's no way the police emailed you saying they arrested him.

I certainly had an email from my local police station when I reported the retard that used to tear up and down on his quad bike.

I think the whole 'shopping him to the police' thing is a bit much really. Most people have done worse on the roads. Especially if the guy that did it was his mate. But meh...
 
I fail to believe the police would email back with the outcome of a criminal case - if anything it would just be "thank you for bringing this matter to our attention"

i cant see anything coming of it. proof beyond reasonable doubt that it was mr xx driving

well the email is there for you to read, or I can get him to email it on to you if you like.

And being arrested and charged isn't really the outcome, that comes after he goes to court.
