Hi Guys

In the run up to Christmas, some of our suppliers sent us a load of magical toys to mess around with in the office. Some of the ones that were sent to us were actually very impressive so we have decided to list the good ones.

The rubbish ones are in the bin where they belong!

We have a really strong selection here that will make perfect gifts for kids and are robust enough for us to consider selling them.

After a massive amount of testing in the office, warehouse, carpark and generally around OcUK HQ. We are proud to offer our new range of mini Drones and RC Helicopters.

The huge highlight of the range is the OcUK Shark Helicopter. The build quality of this product is immense for the price and in terms of how easy it is to pilot, we even managed to get rjk and Gibbo flying it sensibly.
rjk crashed it into the warehouse wall and it lived, Gibbo landed it on the loading bay roof and it fell off and survived. This thing is tough and has great build quality with every person in the office guessing a retail price well in excess of £100.

The Mini drones are a hoot to use as well with a number of cool features. They are easy to fly and come with a comfortable controller. Perfect for annoying your Nan on Christmas day or even just flying around the office.

We have limited stock of some lines so be quick!

As RJK said, the Shark fantastic value for money, however my personal favourites are the Dragonfly PRO and the Mosquito. Here's a picture of them side by side for reference.

I think a video of flight round the office causing havoc of the little red quad copter would seal the deal for me ;)

I think if the guys in the office hear that thing start up again they'll all get a nervous twitch, I was using them to deliver Haribo yesterday, but my piloting skills are something to be desired. I did manage to grab a quick video of Chugnorris flying the little drone though, I'll see if I can get that up on YouTube so I can link it here.

any chance of a video of the shark? just to seal the deal

I'll see what I can do.

Just after I got my lad a Hubsan!

Are you going to be stocking crash kits and spares?

It comes with 4 spare blades in the box. We had this thing flying around the office for 3 days solid and I've bounced it off every single surface / staff member at full tilt and so far it's only required one replacement blade. I can certainly have a word and see if I can get hold of spares though.

Drangonfly Pro looks pretty cool. Might have to update my Christmas list! :D

Edit: any details on the integrated camera? Also, the Mosquito is tiny! Love the X360 styled remote for it. Not sure which to go for now.

Pretty sure it's 0.3MP, so nothing amazing, but it's not bad for a £35 drone.
You can choose to take a photo or video by pressing the up or down keys on the left dpad. I'll grab a few photos with it later.

As promised here's a picture from the camera on the dragonfly PRO.

when are u getting the DJI stuff in stock and better prices ?

At the moment, all of our DJI lines are purchased to order, in some cases we can have stock here on the same day. IRG to pricing, I'm afraid until we become an established reseller we may not have advantageous pricing, however if there is something that you have your eye on and you can get it cheaper from an authorized reseller, let us know via the customer services section and I'll see if I can adjust the pricing so that it's in-line with your expectation.

How do you rate the Dragonfly PRO for trolling cats?

10/10, make sure you put the propeller guards on though.

What's the video quality like on the dragonfly pro?

Seabiscuit has taken the drone today, he said he'd get some footage of our shop so I'll get him to post it here when he's done.

Learning to fly it first Cannonball. It's brilliant fun, but I have to say it's very responsive to the slightest movement on the controls. Although that might be adjustable. I really should RTFM. :D
From what footage we've got so far this afternoon, the video is very impressive so long as the price is taken into account. Although I've not got anything more than a few seconds yet before crashing the drone. (whistling innocently. you didn't hear me say that right Cannonball?)

Top right-hand bumper on the control changes sensitivity :)

THESE ARE THE DRONES THAT YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR

So, Seabiscuit has been busy printing off a Millennium Falcon blade protector on the 3D printer here at OcUK HQ.

I present to you, the OcUK Millenium Mosquito

And yes, before you say, I know I've put it on the wrong way around.
