whether I should get a GIGABYTE P35C-DS3R REV.2.0 to replace my P5N-E SLI.

Is it worth it?

I currently have my E6320 stable @ 3.2Ghz, 2GB Corsair XMS2 800mhz stable @ 1000Mhz and a stock 8800GT.

I will be in the future, getting a Wolfdale but for now will have to stick with the c2d I have.

Do these boards go any higher than 450fsb or am I wasting my time and money? Hot Northbridge heatsinks?

Many Thanks

got one here spot on cant fault it apart from blowing my Ethernet port (although that was a power surge not the boards fault

Guess its the one on the bay ending soon :)

Theres some in the b grade section here for 35

Hit the nail on the head with the bay :)

B-Grade for £35

**Gets credit card out**

Edit: Thats the 965 Chipset and not the P35 you pillock :D

I didnt bother getting it as I have just found a warranty repaired one on a competitor website for £28

Bought and now owned :D

I managed to get one for £28 :)

None of the bells and whistles with it but dont need them tbh.

Waranty repair so hopefully it works straight out of the box ;)

Dunno about the P35C DS3R but my P35 DS3R does 510 or so stable - iirc started getting problems at about 514-515.

I never knew the Internet Information Research Center were getting problems at 514-515fsb :p

Back on topic, I'm hoping I can get a good 500fsb on the one I bought.

If so I will get an E8200 and take it within an inch of its life.
