whether I should get a GIGABYTE P35C-DS3R REV.2.0 to replace my P5N-E SLI.

Is it worth it?

I currently have my E6320 stable @ 3.2Ghz, 2GB Corsair XMS2 800mhz stable @ 1000Mhz and a stock 8800GT.

I will be in the future, getting a Wolfdale but for now will have to stick with the c2d I have.

Do these boards go any higher than 450fsb or am I wasting my time and money? Hot Northbridge heatsinks?

Shot answer is Yes i'm running 24/7 @ 8 x 450 with 4 x 1gb ram 4-4-4-12
E6600 @ 3.6ghz @ 1.45v

I managed to get one for £28

None of the bells and whistles with it but dont need them tbh.

Waranty repair so hopefully it works straight out of the box

Dunno about the P35C DS3R but my P35 DS3R does 510 or so stable - iirc started getting problems at about 514-515.

I never knew the Internet Information Research Center were getting problems at 514-515fsb

Back on topic, I'm hoping I can get a good 500fsb on the one I bought.

If so I will get an E8200 and take it within an inch of its life.
