I have 4090 and i9 13900k - Do I need DDR5 Ram or should I stick with my DDR4 3200 ?

I have 4090 and i9 13900k - Do I need DDR5 Ram or should I stick with my DDR4 3200 ?
I use my pc mainly for 4K Ultra gaming but also a lot photoshop and prem pro.

I'm in two minds about upgrading the ram.
 
I can't see using DDR4 with your rig. DDR5 has advantages over DDR4 and it's the future.

I would suggest DDR5 for you if budget isn't an issue (I'd be surprised if it was).

How much RAM is it? If you have 16GB then I'd say just sell it on, but if you have 32GB or 64GB then I'd definitely keep it.

I have 32gb DDR4 3200 , watched a lot of videos online and from what I see at 4k the ram doesn't really do much from gaming currently. like maybe 1 fps more in a few games so ill stick with DDR4 for few more years.

Well that wasn't the plan ! 4090 was matching my 3080 in fps for gaming at 4k with my i7 8700k so didn't really have a choice but to upgrade the cpu as well lol ! I see it as an investment anyway, I'm a Videographer so will make my life easier when editing my work.
 
Well you don't need ddr5 but options are ddr4 3600 very solid or ddr5 5400 or so pretty much the same perf. Ddr4 boards cheaper...
