So my brother has given me £450 for a monitor, No idea what he wants he just said get me the best you can with the money, Now he loves high res so I was thinking the Asus 4K monitor but have also been looking at high refresh rate monitors, I'm kind of lost.

His specs -

Core i7 5930K
32GB DDR4
Tian Black 2 Way SLI

Recommendations ?

I guess his a gamer and with a system spec like that am sure he most be able to afford this monitor ;)

Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q – a 27” 1400p 144Hz Monitor with G-SYNC

£689.99 inc VAT
£574.99 ex VAT

If not then just make sure whichever monitor you do choose has G-SYNC

It might be worthwhile waiting a while and seeing if any high res 1440+ IPS monitors come out with 120hz+ and G-SYNC.

Sadly not an option, He spent all of his money on the rig after 2 years of saving and only has £450 left plus he kind of can't wait as he's on a 22" screen at the moment :p

I'll keep searching the store :)

Unless he's going 4k there is no need for a second Titan, trust me, I have a pair myself. But even if he does go 4k I'd still say sell the second titan. The monitor you game on is one of the most important parts of your system, there's no point having a rig like that if you're running through a ****** screen.

Sell a Titan and buy something like this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-120-LG&groupid=17&catid=2898 or this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-111-BQ&groupid=17&catid=2898

If he's unwilling to do that, then smack him and lend him twenty quid for this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-069-AC&groupid=17&catid=2898

Make up the rest for him. It's only £50 and you're loaded.

Me ? Loaded ? ROFL, Hardly bud, I house share with 2 other people so rent and utilities are cheap, I don't have a family to cater for so all my funds are my own :p

If I was loaded I'd be on a 5960x with dom plats and quad SLI ;)
