I have 8800GT on an Asus P5K. I would like to setup 3 monitors... help

Hello all

I'll have x2 Dell h2311 and I also have a 42" LG TV.

With 8800GT, I can run 2 monitors at the same time, I would like to plug the Dell 2311 on the x2 DVI of the 8800GT and I would like to run a clear 1080 resolution on the 42" and all three displays to be on simultaneously.

How can I go about doing that? Are the a HDMI cards or do I need a second graphic card?

You can only drive 2 displays at a time from an 8800GT, there are external adapters you can get if you wish to clone one of those displays, if you want 3 different desktops then you will need another GPU in there too or an ATI card that supports eyefinity with a DP adaptor for the 3rd display (not a configuration I reccomend personally).

Good for gaming but there are cheaper cards like the HD 5670, HD 5750 which are about as fast as your 8800GT but if you just want to run 3 displays you can get away with a HD 5450 but it's not much cop when it comes to running games.

5670 min is what i would say.
