I was hoping to get a i7 with maybe SLI/Crossfire gfx cards if this possible and would somebody be able to spec a build like this.

If you're looking for a crossfire/sli at the £700 range (especially with an i7) they're not going to be the highest end of cards. Might be able to manage SLI GTX 460s though...

For gamimg a i5 760 is better than most i7 chips, and because of the cheaper cpu/ram/motherboard i was able to include two GTX460 for sli action.

If you take away the case, because you say its not really needed, then BINGO £700 for the lot.

i7 build without a case, and a single 1GB GTX460, but will cope with a second GTX460 easily.
