I have a business idea and neeed some advice

I have been thinking of ways to make money other than the drab 9 to 5 work I do at the moment. I quite fancy the idea of being called out businesses to help fix any technical problems they may have with their computer systems. This is a big part of what i do at the moment in my job but i would prefer the 'on call' style and changing environments and challenges. I'm not quite sure what the technical term for this role is, I am assuming its Computer Maintenance or maybe Technical Consultant ?

Is there much call for this in small to medium type businesses or is there any agencey work avaliable working for other companies as a call out guy to go fix problems ?

Would greatly appreciate any advice on this especially from anyone working in this kind of role at the moment.

There must be ways of getting jobs with companies doing this sort of work that have contracts with big firms and blue chip companies ?

That sort of job would suit me
