Ok so i have a few questions regarding the gaming rig i'm planning out

  • Will a corsair h100 or h100i fit in a corsair 550d case along with a R9 295 x2
  • What power supply should i buy for the graphics card as i heard that are specific conditions it has to meet
  • I know an h100 or h100i comes with two different sizes of mounting screws what ones will work with my motherboard Steamroller Asus X99

A pre-emptive thank you to anyone who can help me with this just in case i don't say in the future

I see no reason why they wont fit. You just need to work out your fan orientation and add an extra couple of fans.

You need at minimum an 850W Psu but would be inclined to get something a little bigger.

YOUR BASKET
1 x SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 1000W Fully Modular "80 Plus Platinum" Power Supply - Black £139.99
Total : £149.59 (includes shipping : £8.00).

But is that good or bad in relation to the gpu considering the guru article said

"Remember what we told you about your PSU requerements, if you have multiple 12V rails on your PSU, make sure that each 8-pin connector is on a different 12V rails. A very safe margin per rails is 28 AMPs per 8-pin power connector."

Good.
guru3d is only pointing out that should your Psu have multiple 12V rails, make sure that each 8-pin connector is on a different 12V rail and be sure they are at least 28A each.
I have the Leadex Platinum myself, powering a 3930K and a 7990.
