Congrats man, and +1 on taking the initiative to retrain. A friend of mine has been unemployed for 5 years now, and spends all of his time moaning instead of doing anything about it, so double kudos

I got made redundant 3 years ago and then went back to do a degree as i could not find any work.

Finished my degree last month and i start work in September after trying to get a job for a month!

Its not in a role i would have originally chosen to do but it sounded interesting and included what i learnt on my course.

Just thought I would let you all know

Well done, retraining is always a good option, been doing a lot of home courses myself whilst being on the long term sick.
