I have a mouse problem

Hi I have a Razer Taipan mouse and 99% of the time when I switch on my PC the Cursor wont move or keeps freezing/lagging constantly. I have tried different USB ports and re installing the synapse software and i have also lent the mouse to a friend for a week.(worked perfect for him)
Anybody any ideas why i might be having problems?

Is this from a complete shutdown or resuming from sleep/hibernate. I'd advice going in device manager and disabling all power management options. Also enable usb mouse in the BIOS if theres an option. Might be leading you the wrong way but its worth giving it a go.

Make sure Synapse is set to run at startup, otherwise it will have to wait for the mouse to prompt for it.

1) synapse software is set to run on start up
2) it worked fine on install but now when ever i switch on the PC after complete shutdown it wont work properly .. if i plug in another mouse they work fine..
