i have a really wierd problem....

hello everyone,

after building my new computer(phemon IIx4 955, gtx 460, asusMT4ATD-V motherboard, and some other bits) i decide to install some older games. i installed rome total war ran it and its was at such a low frame rate ( like 10) that it just ws not playable, but the computer can play crysis and empire total war at a really good level, which are clearly much more demanding games that i play quite a lot.

what on earth could be going on?

i have just installed the latest patch, and it is slightly better, but not much

its just strange that it runs lots of the really high end games very well, but just this old games plays like ****e.
