Breakfast,
Dinner,

Although now I'm grown up ( ) I do say Lunch and Dinner. I would like to raise the point though, at school we didn't have LUNCH LADIES did we?!

I hope you're just being silly - Breakfast is so called because you're breaking the fast - as in, you're finally eating after a 12 hour break or so.

Why? well I have been a chef for 20+ years and I do a breakfast menu at breakfast time.
Lunch at lunch time ie 12pm-2pm

Dinner is 5pm-9pm give or take.

I have yet to write a evening tea menu.

Have you ever gone to a restaurant in the evening and read a tea menu? nope its always a dinner menu

No, but it's also Lunch Time isn't it?

I don't know what purpose that serve but dinner is not at 12.

And Lunch time refers to a TIME of day you eat lunch, which we all know is in the middle of the day.

Dinner lady is just a job title.
