I have Access 97 and need to work with Access 2000 database

I have looked for the Microsoft Reader but I don't think it is the same as an Excel reader, it only works for reports or something like that? I need to see the tables in this database so that I can work with it for a website:

Is it possible if I can find someone with Access 2000 to save it as Access 97 format or will that break it?

Converted to Access 97 format using Access 2003.
