I want to make some golf stats softwear so i can track what im doing. I know theres websites out there that do this for you but i want to make myown and slightly different. And at the moment just for the course i play.
What im wanting to do is use overhead pictures of the golf course and allow points to be plotted as to where the ball lands for each shot and what club is used. i would also like to use somekind of measurment feature for this. so id have to know how much one pixel represented.
The main problem is what language to use, I know it will probalbly need to write to a database but would this be to complicated for php with using a pointer on a graphic to plot points?
