I have downloaded too many PDFs apparently...!

I tried to download some lecture slides from my Studyzone (Roehampton University's support side thingy) but it didn't seem to work in FF...i thought that was odd as i was downloading the lectures a few minutes ago okay. I tried it in IE7 instead and got this message:

'The maximum number of PDF documents that can be simultaneous opened in the browser has been exceeded'.

I haven't got anything open. :confused:

Doesn't solve the problem, but try downloading rather than opening them? A reboot is always worth a try too.

I can't do that as they are imbedded into the Studyzone thingy. How do i re-install the PDF reader?

Fixed it, just downloaded an update for the Reader and suddenly it's okay. /shrugs.

Tried a reboot? Could be that though you have closed the PDFs Acrobat is stuck in memory.

Or have a look in task manager and see if Acrobat is still hanging around, though I don't know the process name.

Edit: just saw your post, go figure!
