I have had ENOUGH of fans slating Berbatov

its the prem of their country they play in. players are not handicapped.

the prem is best league for quality of football, but you cant deny good players in other leagues because they are deemed weaker. if a player is good he is good

dont forget where all the top players originated from, what leagues they came from

For one, Park isn't a striker

For two, they all play in poorer quality leagues (apart from Aguero and Adebayor)

For three, I really CBA to point out anymore flaws, I'm supposed to be in a meeting :D

Ok

1. You said you could name 10 players better than Berbatov and Rooney combined, you have named 8 players, none of which are better than both combined.

2. Many of those players have done nothing at the highest level and play in minor leagues

3. You stated they could be bought for the same price (or less) as berba (not to mention Berba and Rooney combined) when in fact that is insanely unlikely.

4. You stated they could have banged in goals straight away, there is nothing to suggest that would be true.

using YT videos compiled by little kids aint going to prove otherwise. we are talking about 2 seasons at totty, and fans are going on like his is best striker ever

Why do you think, brainbox? Because the defenders they're playing against aren't as good as those they'd face in Spain, Italy or England. Thus, it's easier for them to score goals.

And have you actually looked at Chamakh's scoring rate? 14 in 42 games is not the sign of a man who will "bang them in."

And West Ham, Fulham, Hull, Portsmouth, The Red Lion (Ebstree) The Pear and Partridge (Aldershot) and pretty much anyone else that needed a striker that week.

That in my book means he would 'bang them in'
 
Only because we've needed someone able to change the lightbulbs in the dressing room since Bendtner decided to starting getting changed in his Lambo.
 
Why oh why did you make this thread, this is the worst possible way to argue that berbatov is good :D

i think berba is a genius and all in all his confidence was not there last season coming into a big club like united, this season he looks up for it, been with us for a season, hes starting to settle down, and his performances upto now this season have been good, we know he has allot more to offer, and the bottom line is confidence, and hes getting it back now.

You havent named any players better than than Rooney there :confused:

You've named some players who play in weaker leagues, and Eto'o (one dimensional) and a player Rooney has outscored every season bar one.

MLT was widely thought of as being lazy: "Matt Le Tissier yeah, scored two screamers but did nothing else all game.........". He just let the ball do all the work, even some of his volleys were the most casual you will ever see - why lash at it when you can just loop it in?
