Most nF4 chipset fans aren't put on properly (very poor spreading of thermal compound). If you took it off and re applied some AS5 or the like, temps would drop. Mine only hits about 47C under full gaming load with the standard fan and the highest it's ever been was 51C even when I had air cooling in a warm room.Dutch Guy said:Hehe, I had that on my old mobo once, I doubt it really ran at 337,500rpm
Slightly OT: Do you have the standard chipset heatsink on your mobo?
I ask because I have the standard one and my computer is in a cold room but goes up to 54C/5300rpm while yours is much lower.
I forgot to do that and thought about it after I had installed everythingsmids said:Most nF4 chipset fans aren't put on properly (very poor spreading of thermal compound). If you took it off and re applied some AS5 or the like, temps would drop.

I had hoped that AS would not make a big difference but unfortunately it does, maybe in the summer when it's hot I will take out the moboand use AS

Surely my computer would take off at those speeds and fly out my window?
