I've had the H140 for about 18 months now and am generally very happy with it, apart from it's size, which is rather annoying at times.

What is there out there that would be small enough to make a difference, but still has a remote, FM, sound quality must be high, as I don't want to waste my E4c's, drop and drag in Windows. Are there any developments in the DAP field that I've missed and would like.

I've not really thought about the video side of things, because I can't really see the point, with a screen that small.

Cheers chaps/chappesses. :)

I am also looking at the Creative Zen Vision M, which seems to be getting good reviews, although the dock does seem an odd idea and there's no remote included, but I could get that afterwards.

I'll look at the X5 as well, cheers. :)

I'm starting to think that the only benefit that I could make from upgrading, is the divx playback, as most other DAP's seem to be of a similar size and weight to the H140, but I can't find many that have a decent battery life, remote and FM tuner, all of which I couldn't be without now.

I've also tried Rockbox, but I can't really find any real benefit, apart from the superior boot up time and gapless playback, but since it won't play wma, it's no good for me, as I don't want to re-encode about 30g. Have the tuner and remote functions improved lately?

what about the Creative Zen Vision:M? 30gb, radio, divx playback, better battery life than an ipod video and a better screen as well, and of course its drag and drop. No remote, but its a real option

I mentioned that one earlier mate and it does look like an option, but the only advantage would be the divx playback, so I'm not too sure whether it's worth losing 10g for.

I really think you should wait till end of year.

If you got upgraditus then get yourself a pair of Westone UM2 inear head phones for £150 - They are best buy Ive made in a long while! They make my Sony EX71s sound like they came from a £1 shop.

I may wait a bit longer, since there isn't anything out there much better than what I have already.

I'm more than happy with my E4c's mate and I don't think the UM2's would be that much better, if actually better at all. :)

The UM2's have a lot more bass... I found the e4's to be a little thin and bright.

They do lack a little in the bass department, otherwise I think they're superb.

Would you think I'd appreciate the Vision M, after the H140, because the Divx option does seem attractive to me, although I'd miss the remote quite a lot, even though I think you can get one, it's not LCD though and the connectors not part of the unit is a stupid idea, how does the dock work to you?
