However if Clarkson wont be with it, I really dont want to go, I want a refund as the two tickets cost £210 and Clarkson makes TopGear what it is.

What are the chances of a refund if they don't have Clarkson there?

I read yesterday that the three presenters are trying to keep the shows running but without the BBC and Top Gear branding. The idea being all these people have spent £100 on a ticket and they don't want to disappoint so they'll do a 'Fast Car Show' instead of 'Top Gear Live' - the content being exactly the same.

No idea if it'll come off though.

Yeah I'd be surprised if Top Gear wasn't continuing as normal by then, wait and see what happens with Clarkson first

i'm not so sure

I fully expect the BBC to kill the golden goose on this one. The pressure from elsewhere is too much. Were the BBC like ITV and a commercial company they could tell them all to naff off. But its the BBC which is publicly funded and as a result every politician and civil servant gets to stick their oar in.

Bought on credit card?

Could possibly claim back under section 75, as the event is no longer as advertised.

Yes, always buy tickets via CC, it's the clever way to go.

I've emailed the contacts on the topgear live website and not had a reply yet.
