I just flashed my 6950 but got some questions about the core and ram speed

At first I got the ROM error so I had to do it the slightly longer way.

However once I loaded up gpu z it showed the speeds at 880/1375

I thought it was an error because i read that you have to manually increase the speed once you flash it.

So i download msiafter burner to increase the clock speed to 6970 levels i.e. 880/1375.

Once msi afterburner loads up i see the speeds are at 880/1375

So I ran heaven 2.1 on the same setting as these guys:

I get about 52 FPS average and increase of 3.5 FPS but it seems people get at stock speed about 55FPS so i am missing about 3 FPS

I suppose my question is, is my flashed 6950 really running at 880/1375 both mis afterburner and gpu z tell me but i didnt overclock so how is it possible also why am i missing about 3FPS is it becasue it is still acually running at 6950 stock speeds?

You are probably loosing the 3FPS due to higher CCC visual settings, or due to differences between your CPU/RAM model/Overclock.

Also remember you need to run Heaven 2.1 twice as the first run it caches in the Textures knocking off a few fps.
