Great machine. Pop an SSD in there at some point in the future and you'll have a super machine.
Says the guy with a custom overclocked PC and bootcamped MBP in his sig!
Go on, say it, "I only use it for games"![]()
I only use it for games !!! Lol.....
). But I'd wish I didn't have to !You'll get used to the trackpad very quickly. Read up on the gestures and you'll soon wonder how you lived without it.

mouse pad seems abit tricky with it being all in 1 kinda thing
Enjoy, and without a shadow of a doubt get an SSD in it, mech HDD slow down any computer and I firmly believe everyone should have an SSD in any new computer.

Once you get used to it, the trackpad might just become the thing you love the most. I think the premium you pay for a MacBook is worth it for the trackpad alone.
PC's aren't rubbish? What an odd remark.
I assume it was a bit tongue in cheek.
I'm just quietly waiting for the prices of 500GB SSD's to go down low enough, THEN it'll be time to get it in my MBP![]()
Or maybe it's his opinion?
It could be, but I like rational, fair and well thought out opinions, and that is not one.
I have been using pc hardware and microsft for 25 years nearly and done msce certifications and others. Windows too clunky imo, put Linux on PC hardware and it flys. And thats my considered opinion. Not a particular fanboy and I like to consider stuff on its merits. I like unix and Linux too. But rgarding OP, good on him. I hope he loves his MBP experience and the fast natured, unclutered feel of his MAC and OSX as uch as I do.
(but this keyboard is loverly)
