I just got my Android Appinventor invite

I just this min got my invite and I am now just setting up my comp\phone to see what's what.

Anyone else here running the Android Appinventor?

It's all web based and you can click and drag a icon\background or what ever you want into the Android screen.

Then after you got it all working you can test it on your PC. Then if that's ok install it to your phone.

I am just going to do the tutorials

My problem is that IE8 wont open jnlp files

All the java I need is installed but still a no go. So the Inventor app from the net can't talk to the phone..

Got one ages ago, but never got round to looking at it! You've reminded me, I'll have a look at YouTube tutorials and that.

If your phone is rooted you have to edit the .jlnp that the app inventor wants to open file before it will connect to the phone.

I have a G1 running 2.2 Froyo and the App Inventor did not like it.

So far so good. Lots to learn
