I just got these at 7pm from here but i cant install the cpu the metal plate that attach the cpu to mb is very stiff indeed, and the back of the plate aint going down flush to the cpu. The front end is but the back aint for some reason its meant to be flush aint it?

Have you got the CPU in the correct way around? There is a little triangle on the CPU and motherboard showing which way they should be aligned, also the CPU has two notches on it which line up with notches on the socket so it will only fit in one way - have you read the motherboard manual? I've just returned a GD55-G3 and it shows you how to do it in there.

Also, the CPU retaining bracket is a little stiff (it won't just fall into place) but you shouldn't have to force it.

ye i put the cpu the right way ive built a few pc`s my self but not one with this skt, i just didnt expect it to be as stiff as it was its in now anyways but thx for the help bud.

It is as stiff as you could imagine, you may even here crunching sounds, its not good at all but is normal.

Yup the first time I built an LGA-based build I thought I had done serious damage as the crunching noise was horrid. Still going strong though :D

Thankfully all the stuff i got from here work shame about my main hardrive packed in as soon as i turned the pc on lost everything. All i heard was a cracking noise coming from it.
I tried to oc the pc in windows but it says i need intel me driver cant find that anywhere, anyone have a link to this file?

Look here.

There are some newer drivers on Intel's site but they're listed for certain Intel boards only.

FYI you'll probably get better results overclocking in the BIOS.
