OK I went to sleep and a I had a dream (on oblivion) and after I wke up I look at my stats and I am a vampire, how to hell did that happen.

Anyone point me in the direction of info on this please.

Advantages/disadvantages?
How to cure myself.

Thanks Luke

*shakes head*

You will have been bitten at some point. the easiest way to cure it to go to a font at a chapel but your too late for that unfortunatly.

There is a cure but its a fairly lenghty quest. I think you have to start it by talking to someone mentioned below.

Start looking for garlic now, I found (am finding) it quite hard to come by.

EDIT: advantages are some improved stats and some pretty cool powers like night vision and detect life. However, you now cant go outside most of the time. I think if you feed in the night and then sleep you can then go out during the day but you dont getthe full range of vampire powers.

Find Raminus Polus in the Arch-Mage's Lobby of Arcane University during normal
daytime hours. Ask aboue a cure for vampirism and he'll refer you to Count
Hassildor in Skingrad.
Its also quite a long quest which didn't help when you can't fast travel during daylight

Ow man, I remember where I got bit I think, said I contracted a diesease.

So are they any advantages to being a vampire?

Thanks Luke

One springs to mind

EDIT - or should that be two ;)

You become stronger, and if you don't feed/drink blood you become stronger still, however the down side is that you take more and more damage during the day time, and people become scared of you and won't talk to you so you can't complete quests.

When you feed you regain a more normal look, and people will talk to you again, but you lose some of your vampiric strength.
