I just installed Driver!!!

Found an old copy from my first Dell computer 7/8 years ago, of the original, first Driver. Installed and works a dream, lovely retro addictation! Just thought you might want to know that this game still rocks...

Good game. I always associate it with Midtown Madness as both were similar and came out at the same time, but Driver was the far better of the two.
Shame the sequels for some reason didn't seem to match up.

This has to be one of my favourite games ever! I installed it again last week to see it maxed out on my 8800...!

I loved the style and look of the game, and the handling was so much fun at the time. Shame they haven't done a good one since. I'd just love to play the original again but with updated graphics etc. Sure, the missions were sometimes long and uninventive (i.e. drive here), but it wouldn't take much to jazz them up, and I still played it through to the end and enjoyed every moment, even though sometimes it was devilishly hard.
