I just installed GTA:SA

And everything is moving insanely fast, it's as if the game can't keep up with what my computer is doing. The introduction videos zoom past before I can get an idea of what's going on, then when the game loads everything is moving stupidly fast.

What do I do here?

Specs:

AMD 64 X2 3800+
Radeon X1800XT 256mb
2GB RAM

Something to do with the frame limiter, If its enabled disable it, if its disabled enable it.

I managed to sort it with a reboot, then it started doing it again. Also it sometimes randomly skips cutscenes...

might be something to with your dual core. try alt tabbing out of the game, bring up the task manager and set the affinity to 1 cpu.

Yep, set the afffinity to 1 cpu fixes most game related problems.
