Hi everyone. I keep getting MBR error messages when I boot. They seem to happen sporadically. They started happening either since I signed up for the Windows 10 free upgrade, that might just be a coincidence though.
Anyway, its annoying, when it happens I use another SSD I had with an old version of my OS, I put that in, reboot a few times. Leave the PC for 5 mins, put the original drive in and it works for a while. Then some must happen and we go back to square one.
My specs are below. I have been meaning to upgrade for a while as my MOBO and COU are getting on in years. I dont think they are the problem though. The only thing I can think of is that I have not updated the BIOS on the MOBO for years, but I have never had any issues.
I tried to create a recovery USB but I am unable, it says the files are not available on the HDD.
Any advice would be welcome.
