I keep losing my charm! :)

(the list of options that appear when you move the mouse pointer to the edge of the screen that is! They are called "Charms" aren't they?)

Every now and again they seem to stop working (IE fail to appear) and I have to shut down using the three fingered salute.

Is this indicative of a developing problem or just a "One of those things" nuisance?

Many people would say that having the charms missing is a bonus

Try running sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt

Create a dummy/new account and see it if works there, sometimes it can be down to corrupt profile data.

Try pressing the Windows key + I, does anything show up?
