....before, but

spec me your ultimate "overclocking" system. Has to be a powerhouse of overclocking joy and be futureproof for at leat a year and a half. WC dudes step forward if you will. :D

And how much would you be willing to spend on it? If this is just idle curiousity and you aren't going to do anything with it then there is no point bothering really as it has already been done and including peripherals etc you can spend over £10,000 :)

because I want to buy it and would like some advice. As far as the system is concerned I am talking within the realms of common sense. A good start would be parts that are available from OCUK, however, I want toi go down the WC route and not all parts for this are handled form here.

Ok then this may do, I have left out all watercooling equipment as I know jack about it. The rest is a mix of near top end parts and those that might be worthwhile before it gets to totally silly money. I'm not totally sure on the Ram as I don't know if C3 offers that much in the way of benefits over C4 for the extra £100 or so.

I had something like that very much in mind, I may go with the Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-8500C5 TwinX (2x1GB) ram instead as this should give me more head room and Ill change the case to a Lian-Li PC-G70 as Ill need the room for the WC rad, as I want to house it internally.

That Seasonic PSU is excellent but in my mind the OCZ GameXStream 700w is just as good, if not better, for less money. Cannot fault the rest.
