What's your PSU? The GT (and G92 GTS) have some issues with some power supplies. See this thread for more details - notably post #3.

If it works with your system, then I'd also suggest the GT in that price range.

Atm i got a **** psu its a hiper 520w i think got it june 2006

but buying a new one after i get a new gfx card.

Hmm the antec rep is saying theres also problems with OCZ (and links to someone having issues with a OCZ GameXStream 700w) but I've been running systems using OCZ GameXStream/StealthXStream 500, 600 and 700watt supplies with the 8800GTX and 8800GT for awhile without any problems... so far... (well had problems with the GTX but thats a different story).

if getting the 8800GT or 8800GTS make sure u get the 512MB versions.

if you read the full antec rep post it says there has been reported issues, it doesnt say its a widespread problem with EVERY PSU, and it heavily depends on combination of hardware components.
