• Optical Drive : Slot Load DVD+/-RW (DVD, CD read and write)
• Power Supply : Alienware 150W AC Adapter
• Power Cord : UK 220V
• Battery : Primary 6-cell 56W/HR LI-ION

• Wireless : Europe Dell Bluetooth 370 Card
• Wireless : ROW Intel WiFi Link 5300 (a/g/n) Wireless LAN Card
• Keyboard : Internal UK/Irish Qwerty Keyboard
• Operating System : English Genuine Windows 7 Professional (64 BIT)

i went to dells web site and checked the specs, i believe this is the older model as the cpu and gpu are no longer available from dell.

With the i7 I would say close to £1,000 maybe with it being Alienware but I have no idea, how much was it priced at?

Thats crazy!!

I picked up my m17x r2 for £1600 with the following spec's

Core i7 720qm
4gb of RAM
2 x 500mb 7200rpm HDDS
2 x 5870 in crossfire
1920x1200 RGB Screen (more expensive one)
Wireless N 6300
Bluetooth
3 Years warranty (again expensive option)

I have since slapped in a i7 920xm and 2 120gb ssd's

If you shop around you can get decent deals on the Alienware kit. The build quality is excellent on the m17x r2 thats for sure, the r3 has had a fair few complaints.
