Last night I bought 4 frozen Chicken Kievs from Asda. I made the mistake of not putting them in the freezer (I forgot about them). So it's been a full 12 hours at room temperature.

They look and smell fine. If I cook them at 190C for 25mins (directions for cooking from frozen). They should be fine too eat?

No you will die. Maybe, but it also may have nothing to do with the kievs.

Cook them, eat them, they'll be fine.

Yeah, as Tom said, they'll be fine..or as fine as chicken kievs ever are :p

Keep in mind that when you defrost food you'll often leave it out for a good few hours at room temp.

I cooked two and they went all funny and fell apart. It must have beem the breadcrumbs and garlic or something. So I tossed them.

Thanks anyway guys. I have eaten eggs and yogurts 2-3 weeks out of date with no problems.

Ah yeah...Probably safe to eat but not very appetising if they fall apart/are soggy.
