Down under mate!
Just to finally clarify the rules.

  • 1. No competitor talk!
  • 2. A competitor is defined as a company who sells similar hardware/periphal products to OcUK, which Amazon do and as such Amazon are *NOT* allowed, but a site such a Steam is fine as selling games is not our business.

Simples. :)

You said it was ok to mention Amazon as long as it was regarding games that aren't sold by OcUK.

Now Amazon talk is banned (yet the Kindle thread remains) and so are other business that are "computer" focused.

Which is funny because Amazon's digital service is in no way competing with the 8 retail PC Games that you stock. :p

The Amazon comment has been removed from the post.:p

if, say a new member or someone that doesnt use the forums much, posts a link, refers to a company or something else that is against this rule. what happens to them? is it an instant ban or are there warnings?

I would edit and warn...unless the continued to break the said rule then I would suspend.:)

I don't ban people for the fun of it that's for sure.

It's their fault for not reading the rules, just make sure them rules are clear, well laid out and sticked so that they don't get lost in traffic.

Nice icon next to the sticky, CRUISE CONTROL for readability, fancy colour and bump to the top so that everyone notices. :D

I was not very clear with my last post.

With the warning I would give a link to said sticky regarding the rules.:)

This forum is a complete joke and I won't be buying from Overclockers because I don't like the way we are being treated.

Why not just say no links and no mentioning of retailers who mostly sell PC hardware i.e *buyer, *can, etc.

Then I trust you won't be posting on the forums again? As the forum as you put it "Is a complete joke"
