God, I just need to tell someone, this is getting really funny.
My uncle who's only 22 keeps getting all this cool stuff. I'm only a kid and naturally want it too but I don't want to be a complete copy cat so I get my mum and dad to buy me better stuff. This really ticks my uncle off big time. Last time we were around at his house, he didn't speak a single word and ignored me. It really hurt my feelings. He doesn't know that he is secretly my hero.
I've always liked his action figures but haven't told him. My mum and dad bought me loads of dragon figures for Christmas, I was so happy and wanted to show my uncle but I couldn't. He doesn't return my phone calls anymore.
I also got a cool electric guitar last summer, I play it all the time. But not when we have visitors. I still haven't shown my uncle that new song I know, he probably thinks I never play the thing. I just want to be as cool as him.
But now I've got an Xbox 360, it's awesome. My uncle has one and we had some banter about it, and that the PS3 is going to be better. But me and my dad couldn't wait until 2012 for PS3 to be sold here, so we got an Xbox 360 instead. We don't regret it, it looks super awesome on our 32" HDTV.
Should I say something to my uncle, he doesn't seem to like me anymore. I'm really unhappy about it because I think he's great. I don't want to offend him, my mum said he could be a little jealous, I don't want to be childish over this. I just want to be friends with him again.
