Mine does a similar thing when I'm sat at my desk, she'll lie on the desk on top of the wrist of my right hand meaning I can't move the mouse without disturbing her.
She also got some sort of rash that is contagious just before we were going to send her to a pet hotel while we're back in the UK over xmas. This means we have to find someone who will be willing to look after her at short notice because the hotel won't take her if she is contagious for obvious reasons. PITA!
