Hi,
The last system I built was in about 2005/6 ??
Old school AMD Athlon 3700+ " 2.4Ghz, socket 939; a modest overclock to 2.7 Ghz, it still works pretty well, but newer games tend to chug along, so I'm just about to put together a new rig based on a Phenom II quad core, so apologies in advance if I ask some Noob questions but it's been a while since I tinkered, but I know you're all a nice bunch!
In my day we had one core and was lucky to have that. Water cooling we had to make ourselves out of old car parts and bits from fish tanks.....Bah! Kids today don't know how easy it is BAH HUMBUG!!!
