I miss it already

Back to wall to wall football coverage. I like football, but I don't like listening to match commentaries almost every evening on the radio. Like a bit of variety in my sports listening.
 
I think this is the first year where I didn't watch a single bit of coverage apart from what was on BBC news in the mornings.
 
Missing it too. Been a great two weeks of being able to watch all sorts of sports that don't usually get much exposure.

With the BBC steadily losing coverage rights for high profile sports and events, they should focus more on some of the sports that don't get much, if any, coverage outside of the Olympic fortnight.

Part of the problem is the obsession with football, which means that a bunch of pundits watching their TV monitors and telling us what they are seeing in various football stadiums is considered better viewing than showing some actual sport.
 
How time flies as you get older! Hard to believe London was four years ago and now Rio is all done too. Wish they could extend it to four weeks, through a less hectic schedule and few more sports.

What am I supposed to do/watch now in the early evenings for the next 3 years, 11 months? ;)
 
This is a problem, I might now have to try and find something else to watch rather than just defaulting to Olympics coverage. I found it was a bit of a slow start but after a few days was really enjoying the coverage and seeing sports that I wouldn't normally be able to watch.
