...all the old ps1 games.

I remember sitting up all night when I was a younger, playing the old games like Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil and Ridge Racer. I would absolutely love the chance to sit down and play these games through again. Only problem being, you can't get them without a ps1(which I no longer have!). I doubt they even sell them anymore.

Any old games you have fond memories of, and would love to play again?
 
the most memorable game i played was resident evil when it came out on the saturn in 1997, tried playing it a few years back and it just looked pants :(

Some things are definitely best left alone. If you played those games again, you most likely would not be able to stand the poor graphics, spoiling it all. I had a quick shot on Gran Turismo 1 the other day, purely out of nostalgia - the sloooow fps and the graphics killed it for me ><
 
Just played Future Cop: L.A.P.D again. There are janglies on the janglies on the janglies.

Old game + 37" Plasma TV = Nasty mess.
 
heh i still got my old playstation one which my dad baught me when i was about 4 i think,

1st level of crash bandicoot on the beach were theres 4 boxes, we didnt know what to do lolol, and my dad said maybe you run around the boxes see what lap time you can get? :D :D :D

lol i used to go to bed at 7pm (which was late! back then) and get up at 5am to play on games such as destruction derby lol.

as i grew up about 7 years old i used to skyve school with my mates lol to play on "chipped" games! (WOW o.o) and it was awsome! james bond games ect lol. grand theft auto 1 and 2! i remember grand theft auto one had motor bikes and 2 didnt i think, that was anoying, lol i used to know where every hidden army tank was ect

then when i was 9 (i think) i played on my cusens brand spanking playstation 2.
it was AWSOME on grandtheft auto 3, the graphics was amazing, anyway i played that for about till i was 13 and a half,

and one of my mates then showed me counterstrike 1.6 for the pc, OMG the graphics was so much more amazing than playstation 2. but i still was using both back then.

then i got counterstrike source,... omg the graphics was awsome on my old 5500 graphics card lol.

as time went by i learnt more about pc's started building them. ect and now iv forgotten my playstation history, i tryed to play it the other day my ps2 it didnt feel right. (read my next post)

and now cause i know a lot about pc's games arent as fun any more its more of a comitment, when you dont know a lot about pc's you think its the games graphics that makes it look good, but as you relise its your pc's spec's ect, you learn more and want better parts for your pc.

and now im 15, and iv not been to school since i was 12, and i have to say..
i bloody wish that they wasnt invented :( :(
my blood pressure is super high, my heart rate is over 110 most of the time.
and its all cause of consoles and pc's im like this.

but..... yet again i dont know what id do without my pc id be lost, 100% truely lost.

but. im hoping to get my life back some time soon cause iv applyed to go to collage and im going to the gym 3 times per week as of next week :)
 
I'll never forget first powering up my Playstation (non of this 'PS1/2' nonsense) when they were first released and thinking Tekken 2 looked absolutely amazing :D
 
yeh man, i remember me and like 6 mates pileing in our mates scotts front room and playing tekken 2 on ps2. we used to play winner stays on and i went round the room twice before i got knocked off, out cheesing everyone with that backflip kick thing that lei did, every one was really ****** at me:D

i keep a small collection of PS1 games for my PS2. as and when i discover old gems, i just pick them up.

i have Wipeout, all the FF games, Ultimate Doom, Final Doom, Destruction Derby 2, Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider, and a few others.

i empathise. it was a great time for gaming.
